April 22-25, 2019, Sochi. Oleg Golyubin’s Translation and Interpretation Agency executed the government contract on provision of simultaneous and consecutive English-Russian-English interpretation for the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation during Russia Health and Safety Week 2019.
At the beginning of April 2019 Oleg Golyubin’s Translation and Interpretation Agency (Sole Proprietor Oleg Igorevich Golyubin) won a tender to execute the government contract on provision of simultaneous and consecutive English-Russian-English interpretation for the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation during Russia Health and Safety Week 2019 – the international forum held in Sochi at the Main Media Center on April 22-25, 2019 and that hosted around 10 000 participants.
As the Agency Director, Oleg Golyubin coordinated 8 simultaneous interpreters that worked during the plenary meeting and during section meetings in several halls equipped with simultaneous interpretation devices.
It should be mentioned that at the plenary meeting of this forum the following eminent persons delivered their speeches: Guy Ryder – Director General of the International Labor Organization, Hans-Horst Konkolevski – Vision Zero Ambassador, Maxim Topilin – Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, Alexander Shokhin – President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Mikhail Shmakov – Chairperson of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia. During Russia Health and Safety Week 2019 the following most eminent and big Russian and foreign companies participated: SUEK, Caspian Pipeline Consortium, Rosatom, Rosneft, Zarubezhneft, 3М, British Petroleum, Peri and others.
Oleg Golyubin’s Translation and Interpretation Agency was working in a close partnership with Etalon Association that was providing technical support to the Agency during the forum assisting the Agency to execute the government contract with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
Oleg Golyubin as the Agency Director and coordinator of 8 simultaneous interpreters had the following responsibilities:
